The business of the MCR is conducted through termly General Meetings and more frequent meetings of the MCR Committee. All MCR members may attend and submit motions to both types of meetings. Only Committee members can vote at Committee meetings, but decisions made there can always be overturned at General Meetings where all MCR members may vote.
Collected here are documents relating to the activities of the MCR. Motions are policy documents that have been passed at MCR meetings and commit the MCR to taking action on a specific matter. The newsletter is sent out weekly and contains any messages that the Secretary has been asked to circulate to the MCR. The Constitution is the MCR’s governing document, and spells out the rights and responsibilities of MCR members and members of the Committee.
