Overview
Oxley-Wright is a large Victorian house on Banbury Road, towards Summertown. There are 13 rooms in the building (none of them ensuite), all of which are for graduate students. The house has a large garden and offers a lovely living atmosphere.
Oxley-Wright is located on Banbury Road, approximately a 20-minute walk from the city centre, or a 5-minute cycle ride. There is also a 24-hour bus service, which stops directly across the road.
Another graduate accommodation venue used by Queen’s College is Venneit Close.

In general, you should use Queen’s College address as your mail address. The College Porters are able to sign for items sent by special delivery and keep them safely for you! However, if you register to vote in Oxford, you must use the address of the flat in which you live.
Facilities
There are 3 bathrooms in Oxley-Wright, each shared between approximately 4 people. Both showers and baths are available. Residents who are fond of cooking often bring their own things. There is plenty of fridge and freezer space for each resident, but the individual shelf space allocated is limited (and quite narrow), so don’t bring all the pots and pans! Please note that any equipment stored in the regular kitchen cabinets is assumed for ‘general use’. There is a large garden in the property, including a BBQ available for all residents’ use. Let the Decanal Assistant and other residents if you are planning to hold a larger event. There is also a garage to the side of the property in which you can store your bike and get direct access to the garden without passing through the house.
