Living in Queen's
Facilities, libraries, computing resources and more!
As Graduate students in Queen's we can live in private accommodation or in one of the Graduate buildings owned by College: St Aldate's House or Oxley-Wright. However, the fact that we do not live in the main College building does not mean that we cannot enjoy what Queen's has to offer! This page presents some of the facilities of Queen's, but as always you can get in touch with the MCR Committee Members with any questions!
The Queen's College is prepared to cater for most physical disabilities of its Graduate students. Potential applicants are recommended, however, to contact the College directly to discuss their needs prior to submitting an application. The MCR Committee members are always ready to help its members with related issues. Check out who the currente Committee Members are and get in touch with us!
As a member of the Queen's MCR you can take advantage of the Queen's College Library, one of the best-stocked college libraries in Oxford! The current lending library consists of around 50,000 volumes. The Queen's College also has one of the largest (around 100,000 volumes) and most diverse collections of rare books in Oxford. Can't find the book you need? Don't worry! The library accepts requests for new books to be added to its collection. It is even possible to request partial refunds if you want to purchase a book for yourself! As always, you can contact the MCR Committee for further information!
sports and gym

The gym is open to all College members and it is widely regarded as the best college gymnasium in an Oxford college! In the Back Quad of the main College building there is a table-tennis room which is to be used, for example, as a relaxing diversion when in a break from our studies and work! Of course you can count on the MCR Committee Members to help with any questions!
